 About the Workshops

You do NOT have to be a member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club to participate in the workshops. Our workshops are open to anyone who is interested in drawing, painting or printmaking. All skill levels are welcome.

The annual "Workshop Show" is an opportunity open for all workshop attendees to exhibit their work.

There is no better way to sharpen your skills than to draw or paint from the model.  Come to our workshops with materials of your own choosing and get your creative juices flowing!

All model classes meet in our historic facility. This spacious studio space has been freshly renovated.  Newly installed gallery lighting -- with ultraviolet filters to protect paintings --is ideal for working artists.  The space is also lit by natural light. Easels, chairs, and tables are ready for use. Lockers are available to rent for a small annual fee.

Those who use oil paints should bring their own container to remove used turpentine. We ask that you use odorless thinner.

Come to draw, paint or make prints, and follow in a great tradition.
