Annual Works on Paper Exhibition

The Philadelphia Sketch Club will host its annual juried Works on Paper exhibition, from January 9 through January 30. An opening reception will be held for the general public on Sunday, January 9th from 2:00 until 5:00. There is no admission charge for the reception or for viewing the exhibition during regular gallery hours.

This exhibition will feature works on or made of paper by artists throughout the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas. The juror for the exhibition, Maria Creyts, is a painter and printmaker who received her MFA from the Yale School of Art. Her work has been exhibited in museum and gallery venues and she is a faculty member at Albright College.

The Philadelphia Sketch Club is America's oldest artist run organization. It is an active regional arts education center that holds workshops, exhibitions, and a permanent collection of American Art from the late 19 th and early 20 th century. Located at 235 South Camac Street (between 12 th and 13 th , Locust and Spruce), the Philadelphia Sketch Club is conveniently located and accessible by many public transportation routes. Regular gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00.
