Print & Drawing Exhibition at the Philadelphia Sketch Club
The Philadelphia Sketch Club kicks off its 2005/2006 exhibition season with a juried print and drawing exhibition. An opening reception will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. The exhibition will run through October 2 nd . The reception and exhibition are open free of charge to the general public.
The Philadelphia Sketch Club hosts several free and low cost visual art programs available to the general public including low cost life painting/drawing and printmaking workshops, a full exhibition schedule featuring a variety of media and stylistic approaches to visual art, displays from our permanent collection of art and artifacts, portfolio reviews for college art students, a collection of historic documents and information on participating artists of the past and present, and public access to its wonderful historic facility.
The Philadelphia Sketch Club is located at 235 S. Camac Street (between 12 th & 13 th ; Locust & Spruce Sts.) in downtown Philadelphia . Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.
